Designed elements fit the steel package
Engineering is reviewed together with the detailing scope.
- Structural-model review
- Coordinated interfaces
- Field fit-up focus
Engineering and calculations
Delegated-design engineering for stairs, rails, ladders, platforms and related steel elements, coordinated with the structural detailing model.
Service overview
Anatomic Iron provides engineering design and calculation services for delegated-design items, including stairs, rails, ship ladders, platforms and other smaller interior or exterior steel elements.
Calculation packages are signed and stamped by a licensed engineer in the project state. The designed elements are reviewed against the structural steel detailing model to support coordination and field fit-up.
Core advantages
A concise view of the technical, commercial and coordination advantages.
Engineering is reviewed together with the detailing scope.
Delegated design can advance at the same time as the detailing package.
The detailing team already understands the project geometry and requirements.
How we work
A controlled sequence keeps technical information aligned with project priorities.
Confirm delegated items, codes and required deliverables.
Understand the actual geometry and adjacent steel.
Perform calculations for the required elements.
Check the design and coordination before issue.
Provide signed calculations and coordinated information.
Technical focus
Designed elements are reviewed in the context of the structural model, not as isolated calculations.
The result is a clearer path from delegated design requirements to coordinated fabrication information.
Verified project experience
Project information below is taken from Anatomic Iron project records.
Selected projectConvent, Louisiana
Approximately 523 tons of structural steel progressed through design assist and detailing in around three months.
